Professional Learning Update
This will be discussed as part of the planning days and in PLCs.
Directions for PLC Culminating Reflection Activity:
Where are we now? What has your PLC accomplished during the 1st semester of the 2015-2016 school year.
Create a multimedia presentation (no more than 2 minutes in length – can be a Thinglink, trailer, iMovie, etc.) showcasing the work of your PLC from this semester. This work is directly connected to Domain 3, which is reflecting on your professional growth.
Things to include/reflect on: Illustrate the PLC’s long and short term goals, the work on your Deliberate Practice (Instructional Techniques), as well as DQ1 (Learning goals & Scales/Celebrating Successes) and DQ5 (Increasing Student engagement).
The multimedia presentation will be a part of the faculty collaboration on January 8th. Please upload presentations no later than December 14th on the Ridgewood Hub (there is a link at the very top of the home page).
I didn't get many pictures on Friday, so please make sure that you send or tweet where Rocky is each day! I will be at a training next week but will post his whereabouts as he spreads holiday cheer!
Tis’ the season to be jolly… Rocky the Ram is here! You have been chosen to spread holiday cheer. Take a moment to snap a picture with him, email or tweet to Angie (Rhs_Principal), to capture the joy of this time of year! Once you are done, pass Rocky the Ram on to another deserving individual to continue the fun! Let’s see the places he travels at Ridgewood and how Ram Pride brightens everyone’s day!
