Sacred Heart School
Week of April 1st
Our Vocations
Every once in awhile, I am extra conscious of the fact that we teach in a school called Sacred Heart. It's a bold name- one that attempts to encompass the unfathomable love of Jesus - the most merciful, endless, unconditional love.
Our mission is to embody that love - to bring that love into our community - into our kids' lives, and ultimately, into the world. It's a pretty impressive mission.
Because our mission is so big, so bold, so impressive - it requires a top notch team - all committed to bringing that love to life. And I couldn't think of a better team to do this work with than all of you.
Thank you for heeding the call - and living your vocation!

Professional Development
Having said that, I highly encourage all teachers to take the lead on their own professional learning. Identify PD that you are interested in - sign up for it - and submit the required paperwork.
If you don't know how to do the paperwork, please advocate for yourself and reach out to me or a trusted colleague!
Also, please note that all teachers should be working towards catechist certification. The archdiocese has set a date of 2021 for all teachers to be certified!
