Gun Control
1 in every 285 Americans will be murdered. This problem is largely because of the loose laws about guns. It is easy to get a gun today. Many people with criminal histories are able to get dangerous weapons like assault rifles. Firearms result in thousands of hospitalizations for accidents and hundreds of deaths each year. If I were president, I would use my executive powers to issue an executive order to increase gun control and prevent criminals from having access to guns. I would use the trait of courage because there would be many people that oppose my order and want to fight against it. I would also use the trait of openness, I would be open with the public about why I issued my executive order and how I think it will help the country.
