Notes from Choir
Midway through Quarter Two!
What a busy and FAST week in Room 105, otherwise known as the choir room! We had a week of Leger Line learning and learning and LEARNING. It's a tough subject! We concluded with a quiz yesterday and we will look forward to new material about the Human Voice on Monday!
Both Chorale and Treble Tones have been working furiously to learn their music and choreography. Each group had an additional song added just recently and I haven't made it easy for them. Chorale is being stretched (and so is their teacher). But we will get it done and make George Frideric Handel proud! (ha!)
Holiday Concert
Our first concert of the year, the Holiday Concert, is just over a month away! All choir students received a handout today that outlines everything you and they need to know for the performance. I've attached the document that they should be bringing home to you here. Please read carefully. Information about concert attire, tickets, times and dates are in this document. Please e-mail if you have any questions. We are looking forward to performing for you!
Honor Choir
All OMEA Honor Choir participants were to turn in their permission slip, EMF and $40.00 participation fee TODAY. We need this FIRST thing on Monday so we can send our names in and get the music! These forms make it OFFICIAL!
