LIVE aims to draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community and to forge a sense of community and spirituality amongst them.
This year our Youth Ministry will be led by a group of ten students across Years 10 and 11. The students have a range of initiatives ready for this year and can’t wait to share them with the college community.

ST BENEDICT'S INVITATION TO CAMDEN COUNCIL'S 2021 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY GALA
Camden Council extended a warm invitation to one of our student leaders to attend this exciting opportunity. Amelia K, our College Captain and our College Principal, Mrs Kerrie Piatek, attended this event at the local Gledswood Homestead and Winery on Thursday 11 March, 2021.
One of the Keynote speakers was a highly accomplished Australian journalist and author, Tracey Spicer. The MC for the event was Olympic medallist Sarah Ryan.
Among the panellists were Rosemary Kariuki - Fyfe, a NSW Local Hero Award recipient, and Sara Mansour, a Lawyer and poet, who took part in the Q&A session.
There was a presentation for the 2021, Camden Woman of the Year Award. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Blue Wren House – Camden Women’s Shelter.
This was a wonderful opportunity for both Amelia and for St Benedict’s to be involved in such an event. Speakers inspired guests to #ChooseToChallenge and play their part in achieving gender parity in Australia.
