What's Up?
This week, we finished our last Georgia Milestones test! We began learning about Mean, Median, Mode, and Range in Math to prepare for 6th grade. Also, we started our Social Studies selfie project, which will take at least a week to complete. Your child also did an investigation on the effects of Red Bull on milk, and many students were introduced to the Sound of Music as a follow up to our World War 2 unit.
What's Next...
This week, we will continue many activities from the previous week. We will go on a field trip to Locust Grove Middle School Tuesday and all permission slips for this trip are due tomorrow, Monday, May 4th. Friday is Career Day and students will hear about many different types of careers.

Rocket Day
Rocket Day is May 27th. I can still take $5.50 for rockets until this Thursday, May 7th. Students who do not send in $5.50 will still be able to watch/assist students who did pay for a rocket. This is a new venture for me, and I'm excited to see how it goes!
