Pen Pal Program
In conjunction with their monthly events, they also facilitate a Pen Pal Program and some of their patrons have been corresponding with Exeter England! There are so many participants in PA looking for someone to correspond with, , that they've reached out to our library to see if anyone would like to participate!
There is an application available in our library or online, fill it out, bring it to us and we'll send it along to Pennsylvania where the staff there will hopefully find you a match among their lively bunch!
This program is related to, but not necessarily part of our Letter Writing Social. We are just matching you up with someone to write to on your own time. Amy just got her first letter, it was so fun to get personalized mail rather than advertisements and bills!
Yoga Class
Monday evenings

New students are always welcome! Modifications and variations make this a perfect class for beginners as well as experience yoga practitioners.
Please bring your own yoga mat.
No registration required.
If the weather is questionable, please check the library's Facebook page for cancellations.
Library Tips & Tricks
Putting Items on Hold
Every morning, each library in the system runs a report of items requested from their building. Library staff pick the items from the shelf, check them in and either put them on our shelf for you, or send them to another library for somebody else.
It is an automated process - but not an automatic one! If you see that the item is checked in here in Exeter and you want to run in to pick it up, please call ahead when we are open, and we will gladly grab it off the shelf for you.
If you see that an item you would like has a long wait list, please put it on hold anyway. When Exeter items are checked in, the computer automatically scans to see if anyone from Exeter is waiting for that item. If it finds you anywhere on the list, the item is automatically reserved for you. If no one from Exeter is waiting, the item will just go to the first person on the list and work its way around RI, until someone from Exeter wants it, or the list is depleted.
