Cell Phone Policy

Please be reminded of our school policy for cell phone usage. Cell phones are to be turned off and stored in your student's locker. Students may use cell phones before entering and after leaving the building. If your student is not feeling well or needs to call home for any reason, they need to come to the office; we have a student phone available for them. Consequences for using a cell phone may result in detention, loss of Barrymore's, Character Counts, and Cedar Point.

If you have any questions concerning this policy, please feel free to call Mike Jones, Assistant Principal, at 586-752-0240.

Boater's Safety

Seventh grade students recently participated in a Boater’s Safety course through the Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division. At the end of the course, students took a 50

question test over the material covered in the text and in class. If students passed with a 70% or better, they earned a boating safety certificate. 158 students out of 175 total (90%)

passed and earned their certificate. Eight students earned 100%!

Students who received a perfect score of 100% are: Madison Clor, Cody Hunt, Tyler Pressel, Danielle Culkin, Elena Nikolovski, Melina Waldschmidt, Maximiliano Jamil, Maxxin Guinn.

These students will be invited to a field trip with the other 100 percenters throughout Macomb County. They will tour the Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division station, go out on the Sheriff's boats, tour the DNR next door and have lunch with the deputies.

Congratulations to all students who earned their certificates!
