100% EVERY DAY

At Dixons Kings, we live by our core values. Integrity is always doing the right thing and keeping true to your moral principles. Diligence is the necessity of giving attention to detail in order to avoid error and overcome obstacles. Finally, Civility is about showing everyone consideration and respect. Our appreciations newsletter celebrates the members of our academy family who exhibit these values and climb the mountain to success. We also champion the family members who, during their climb, have shown themselves to be unique, ambitious and creative.

Message from the Principal

I would like to thank all our families for their continued support over the past year. We had a very positive start to the academic year and our Year 7 students have quickly settled in to the routines within the Academy.

Year 11 students will return to sit their mock exams on the w/c 4th January and I hope that you can support your child to use the holidays to prepare themselves for the exams.

We were also visited by the Bradford Partnership this term, where we were judged on all areas of teaching and learning. The outcome of this visit was very positive and the report will be available to view on the academy website shortly.

On behalf of all the staff at the academy, we hope you have a restful and enjoyable break and for those of you who will be celebrating Christmas; we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I look forward to working with you and our students in the New Year.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. N Miley
