Summer Symposium

Level up your learning at the 2019 Summer Symposium. This year's event will be held at Seguin High School from July 23-25. Choose from over 30 sessions each day with a focus on Professional Learning Communities, rigorous & relevant instruction, and social emotional learning. Be sure to visit the symposium website for a listing of sessions each day. Seating is first come, first served.

District-wide 2019 Summer Book Studies

Learn from the comfort of your home or while on the go! SISD staff have the opportunity to engage in self-paced learning by signing up for one of two book study options scheduled from June 10 - August 5. Participants will engage in shared learning through Google classroom and will earn 6 hours of Exchange day credit for completing all assignments. Copies of the books are limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Log in to eduphoria for more information. Please note that these book studies are available to those who did not participate in the Superintendent's Book Study.

The GT Institute is available to teachers who need the initial 30 hour training. A 6 hour update is also available on July 11. Register in eduphoria today as seating is limited.

Attend a chromebookU session starting June 5th. The 90 minute sessions will introduce participants to the ChromeOS and ensure that you get the most out of this exciting resource. All participants will leave with a new chromebook at the conclusion of the session. Register for one of the sessions scheduled throughout the summer in eduphoria.
