Tigers Tennis
The mixed doubles team of Kaden & Kailea Jenkins, the doubles team of Avery Kramer & Kylie Mathers, along with Jacob Stroman in singles all competed at the Regional Tennis Tournament in Tyler.
Jacob Stroman and the team of Jenkins & Jenkins both earned 2nd place in the region and earned the opportunity to compete at the State Tennis Tournament in San Antonio. Kramer & Mathers earned 3rd place at Regionals.
We are proud of these students' hard work and the success that they show inside and outside of the classroom!
BRHS FFA Judging Teams
The Livestock Judging team of Jimmy Fortner, Carson Garner, Memree Hatcher, Blake Rushing, and Karley Rowe were Area champs and are competing at the State competition this week.
The Horse Judging team of Katie Buckley, Raine Buckley, Allison Edwards, and Kelly West competed at the State competition last week and placed 26th overall in the entire state.
The Wool Judging team of Parker Adlof, Broc Armstrong, Carson Garner, and Blake Rushing also qualified for and competed in the State contest this past week.
Each of these teams earning a spot on the State level are huge accomplishments and are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students. Under the guidance of Mr. Williams, Mr. Parr, and Mr. Shafer, the BRHS FFA Chapter continues to learn, grow, and excel!

Alex Cable - 400m dash
Frances Dickerson - long jump & 300m hurdles (Area Champ)
Chloe Enloe - 100m dash (Area Champ)
Cash Goodman - 110m hurdles
Cheyenne Lanier - 200m dash (Area Champ)
Jacob Stroman - 800m
Josh Stroup - 110m hurdles & 300m hurdles (Area Champ)
Avery Wood - 400m dash
Boys 4x100m relay
Girls 4x100m relay (Area Champs)
Girls 4x200m relay (Area Champs)
Boys 4x400m relay
Each of these athletes and relays will compete this weekend for the opportunity to advance to the State Track Meet in Austin. We can't wait to cheer them on!

Hello BRHS Families!
Wow, this year has flown by. It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of the school year. We hope you will make plans to join us in honoring the Class of 2022 at all of their senior activities in the coming weeks. A list of dates is included in this newsletter.
Speaking of seniors, if any senior has received an outside scholarship, please let me know so that we can make sure to include it at our Senior Awards and Recognition night on May 24th.
Dual Credit Students: Registration for summer and Fall are now open and in full swing.
The early payment deadline for Summer courses is May 4. The registration and payment deadline for Fall registration is May 13 for all BRHS students.
For students, taking spring dual credit classes, please see the attached Tuition Reimbursement form for the Spring 2022 semester. Copies are available in Mrs. Ingersoll's office. We will also email you a copy to your BRISD student email account. The deadline to submit the reimbursement form and required documentation is June 2, 2022.

Q. Are you ready to sign up for a Farmersville Campus summer camp?
A. The Farmersville Campus is offering summer camps this June and July. Campers can unleash their creativity in the hands-on, minds-on Robotics Camp. Budding forensic scientists can learn investigation techniques, search procedures, identification, documentation, preservation, and collection of crime scene evidence such as fingerprints, DNA, blood, and shoe and tire impressions in the Crime Scene Investigation Camp. Administrator Highlight: Dr. Diana Hopes
Farmersville Campus Executive Dean Dr. Diana Hopes has worked for Collin College for five years. Prior to her current position, she served as the director of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and Dean of Academic Services. She holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Supervision from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a Master of Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts with a Major in English from Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
What is unique about the Farmersville Campus?
Dr. Hopes: Our shared goal is to be the campus students want to attend. Our unique campus design and welcoming environment encourages students to feel connected both inside and outside of the classroom.
