SOPHOMORES VISIT WSCC TO LEARN ABOUT CAREER POSSIBILITIES
Students visited instructors and professionals in programs including: Diagnostic Imaging, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Sonography, Child Development, Dental Hygiene, Agriculture Horticulture Production, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Diesel Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Forensic Psychology, Graphic Art and Design, Machine Tool Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Radiation Therapy, and Welding.
Our students have a bright future ahead! Opportunities such as these help them develop a better understanding of available careers and pathways to get there.
CHICKEN & DRESSING SUPPER RECAP
We had some hiccups along the way, but we learned a lot! Now that we know more about what to expect and how to plan, we will be able to improve our event.
Overall, it was a great night of good fellowship and good food. Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered and who purchased plates! The money raised will go directly to classrooms and classroom teachers.
Special shout out to Luna's BBQ for the delicious food!
*High school students who volunteered, be sure to turn in your service hour sheet to Mrs. Yearwood.
