All of our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will take the CogAT test on September 28th, 29th and 30th. Our 1st grade students will take the test on October 5th.
The CogAT is the Cognitive Abilities Test, which measures both general and specific cognitive abilities. The general reasoning abilities measured by the test show the cognitive process and strategies that help a student learn new tasks or solve problems. The CogAT measures students’ learned reasoning abilities in the three areas most linked to academic success in school: Verbal, Quantitative and Nonverbal. Please scroll below for more information regarding the CogAT test.
It was great seeing Boggess WatchD.O.G.S. this morning helping with carpool. Thank you so much. PTA, we miss seeing all of the volunteers on campus, but we know you are still working to support our students. Thank you for working on providing a T-shirt to every Boggess student.
We are looking forward to welcoming students back to campus on Monday. For students who are joining the Virtual Academy, we will miss you, but wish you the very best.
Touching hearts and minds,
Shurandia Holden
