Setup your student iPads to join your Class.
Once each class has joined your class using the Class code, your teacher iPad can now control and manage each classroom ipad that shows up on your classroom list.
Just a few recommendations...
- Have a fun and quick setup lesson with your students to allow them to get used to the app before actually diving into a curriculum lesson with Apple Classroom. Use that time to work out any discrepencies and get used to it yourself.
- Remind your students of basic rules when using the iPads. A little setup will go a long way.
- If your Ipad is too outdated to run the Apple Classroom app, pick and label a student iPad to run the app for you. If you share the ipad cart with your grade level, let your fellow teachers know which iPad you used. Multiple classrooms can be setup using that one iPad.
- Remember: even though all apps can have really cool functions, there can still be limitations.
