Principal's News - Covid-19 Update
We are so excited by the prospect of spending a full term on campus in Term 4. Please refer to the email shared with families yesterday for specific details in regards to our transition back to face to face learning.
Schools are provided with operational guidelines that we are required to follow in order to meet the requirements of a Covid Safe School. The biggest challenge for parents and carers is not being able to physically come on to the College grounds. While we appreciate that this can be frustrating for some, your support of these requirements in our initial re-opening was most welcome and we thank you in advance for supporting us again in Term 4.
Please be assured that additional staff are on duty before and after school to assist students with entering and leaving the grounds.
Teachers are busily preparing for Term 4 to ensure that students will cover the required content of their year level despite the challenges of Covid. We thank them for their efforts and professionalism and know they too are excited to have students back on site!
We wish all of our families a safe and restful holiday and look forward to seeing our students on day one of term 4!

Summer Uniform
Students will be expected to be in correct uniform from the beginning of term including wearing sports uniform only on timetables days. Thank you for your support of our College Uniform Policy.
IB Primary Years Program - Transdisciplinary Learning
In the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program students engage in authentic inquiry in transdisciplinary units. Transdisciplinary means learning across traditional subjects with Maths, Language, History and all the other subjects combining into one unit. This transdisciplinarity supports students to engage authentically and use skills in real world situations. Rather than doing a maths worksheet they might use their skills to add up some money at a market day or use geography and physical eduction skills in an orienteering task. When students use their skills in real world situations they are much more likely to retain the knowledge as it being used meaningfully.
Canteen Ordering Term 4 - Flexischools App
In term 4 lunch orders will be via the flexischools app only.
Thank you to our families who have been ordering lunches for children online. This process has many benefits for all, specifically in the area of health and safety.
For those parents who still like to provide their child with some money to buy a treat at the canteen this is still being catered for at break time.
Home Meals from the Heart
Thank you for all your support of the Home Meals from the Heart at Trinity. The canteen and catering will be closed during the school holidays from Friday 18th September and will reopen on Monday 5th October.
