New Staff at Robinwood
MEET OUR NEW ROBINWOOD STAFF
Dave Blask
Hello Robinwood Families! My name is Dave Blask, and I am in my 19th year of teaching physical education in Franklin Public Schools. This is actually my first year returning to Robinwood since my very first year in the district, the 2003-2004 school year. It's been a long hiatus, but it's going to be very well worth the wait because we're going to have an awesome school year!
I will be working with two of the 5th grade classes for physical education. I am very much looking forward to working with them and to having a very active and fun time with all of them in the gym.
I spend most of my time teaching physical education at Country Dale, though occasionally travel and cover classes at other schools. Franklin is an amazing district with awesome students and families, and I look forward to working with the Robinwood 5th graders this year!

Rebecca Funkhouser
Hi! I’m Rebecca Funkhouser, the new kindergarten teacher at Robinwood. I taught kindergarten for a few years in Washington and just moved to Wisconsin in July. My husband and I moved for him to attend grad school, and we’re thankful to be also close to some family in the area. I’m so excited to be a part of this wonderful community of staff, students, and families at Robinwood, and I can’t wait to watch my students grow this year!

Meghan Glewen
Hello! My name is Meghan Glewen (formerly Meghan Mountin as some of you knew me by first :) I am happy to be back at Robinwood working with the students in reading intervention. I currently go between Countrydale and Robinwood and have worked in several of the other elementary schools in Franklin too. I look forward to working with many of you again as well as meeting those of you whom I do not know!
Margie LaFond
My name is Mrs. Margie La Fond, formerly known by students as Miss Bryce, and I am ready to begin a new school year! Over the past 8 years I have worked as a substitute teacher in the Franklin district. The past 3 years I have been the building substitute teacher at Robinwood. This coming school year I have the privilege of teaching the 5th grade class in Rm C3. Being able to see the students academic growth over the years and establishing a strong relationship with them has been a joy to experience.
I look forward to strengthening those relationships and working with these students to help them do their personal best.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family--my husband and 4 year old son--as well as traveling, reading, and listening to music.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. The best time to contact me is before and after school either by phone or email (marguerite.bryce@franklin.k12.wi.us) I am excited to work with your students.

Carolyn Wysocki
My name is Carolyn Wysocki and I am excited to start teaching first grade at Robinwood! I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from UW-Green Bay and my teaching degree from Upper Valley Educators Institute in Vermont, where I lived from 2017-2021 and taught first grade as well. I am happy to be back home in Wisconsin near my family. In my free time I enjoy bicycling, exploring the outdoors, reading, traveling, and snuggling with my cat, Avis.
Claire Zebrowski
My name is Claire Zebrowski and I am so excited to be working at Robinwood this year as a long-term substitute teacher! During my time at Robinwood, I will be covering for the 1st grade Cross Categorical teacher, Mrs. Moum, until November, and then I will be working in Mrs. Reed's 1st-grade classroom from November until I start student teaching in January. I am so excited about both of these amazing opportunities!
I graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I am now working towards my Master's in Cross Categorical Special Education through UW-Whitewater. Last year I worked at Robinwood as a CC EA in the 1st and 2nd-grade classrooms. When I'm not at Robinwood I love spending time with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I love drinking iced coffee and getting ice cream. The color yellow is my favorite and I love being outside.
I am so thankful that I get to continue working with the amazing staff and students here in this new position. I can't wait to see all that the students learn this year and help them grow!
