Academic Strategies/5th Hour: Mastering the Basic Math Facts in Multiplication
Students will begin a series on Mastering multiplication facts. One-Minute Fluency fact checks. Using multiplication in game formats to work on automaticity. We have worked through fact families for multiplication and now we will use this knowledge to begin work with division.

Foundational ELA Level A: Developing fluency in reading individual words.
· WARM UP: Phonemic Awareness: Week 29: Rhyming; Onset fluency; Blending Phonemes; Listening for Medial and Final Sounds; Segmenting Phonemes; Substituting Phonemes; Adding Phonemes and Deleting Phonemes
· Students are working on daily skills of word recognition and fluency.
o High Frequency words
· Students are working on writing sentences with a focus on understanding two homophones and using them accurately in a well-written sentence.

· Students will be use story illustrations and text to describe characters, setting, and events.

Our final JAG-K project will be our Mentor Project. This will help the students identify important role models in their life. I've truly enjoyed getting to know the students this year!

Students can work on their vocabulary through Language! VocabJourney at home on their computer. We will be using the program in class on Friday while students having individual progress monitoring with me.
