we asked Mrs. barnes a couple of questions and this is what she said
How do rules at home affect the rules in school?
"The home is where students learn how to behave. When expectations at home are similar to the rules at school, students can adapt more easily to their environment. When the expectations at home are not similar, it can create conflict. Students who lack discipline at home usually struggle with it at school."
What rules should you think should be discharged and should be added.
''Honestly, I don't think that the no cell phone rule is effective. Most students have them on their person all the time because lockers are rarely used now that laptops are brought to class in a backpack. Also, they are allowed at lunch, so students question why they aren't allowed the rest of the day. I don't think that students should have their phones out and use them during class, but they could be silenced and kept in backpacks or a cell phone parking lot in the classroom''

School has been around for a long time. Schools helps students learn in the academic way and also in a behaver way. The rules in school are set to keep the students respective to the teacher, for an example answering the teachers yes sir, no mam. What are the purpose of school rules and how do they affect the school community when they are not obeyed? School rules are very important the rules are what hold the school to gather. If students did not have to follow rules that students would do what they wanted and would also not learn nothing. The students that do not listen to the rule will create an interruption to the other student stopping them from leaning. School has always been available for rich white boys then white girls but it was not till the freedmen burial when African Americas could be able to go to school. “The U.S. Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, popularly known as the Freedmen’s Bureau, was established in 1865 by Congress to help former black slaves and poor whites in the South in the aftermath of the U.S. Civil War (1861-65). Some 4 million slaves gained their freedom as a result of the Union victory in the war, which left many communities in ruins and destroyed the South’s plantation-based economy” (History.com Staff, Histoy.com Staff. "Freedmen’s Bureau." History.com. A&E Television Networks, 01 Jan. 2010. Web. 12 May 2016.).

Like jail time. The rules have been around for a long time just as long as school.
A life without rules would be chaos, but some Rules can be unnecessary, like no candy in school this might help the students listen.

Schools have rules none the less and they help us stay safe in school. The schools keep these rules in a book called a hand book, but some schools may have more rules that others. Vance middle school has a rule book and this helps the students stay in line and obey the teachers. At Vance Middle School are having no phone and some schools are allowed to have them on there persons. “Vance follows this rule because they are wanting to keep our students focused on their school work.”(Lilly, Gary. Rev. of Vance’s Middle School Hand Book. Vance Middle School Hand Book Aug.-Sept. 15: n. page. Print.) When Mr. Day answered our questions he game good information and with good detail. “The affect outside of school can and will mess with the action’s in school it may make them better or may make them worse, but student will try to stay on their best behavior to owner teachers and should have a reword but to set thin of the reword so that they will just do what they should do with a reword.” (Day, Jared. "How Do out Side Actions Affect School Rules." Personal interview. Apr.-May 16.)
“This school year, America's schools are projected to reach a demographic milestone: For the first time, a majority of students in K-12 schools will be children of color. This special story package examines what that means for educators, students, and the school community.”(Education Week .com. "The Changing Demographics of America's Schools." Education Week.
