DAAC Mission and Vision

Mission: Stakeholders advise and hold Estes Park School District accountable in terms of their mission, vision, and goals.

Vision: Our diverse community works with the district to assure that our students graduate with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to be successful and responsible citizens.

Welcome and Minutes

Validate or correct record of previous work.

DAAC co-chair

  • Blake Nicholson has offered to be a co-chair with Bev.
  • Approval needed.
  • Heather Gooch will act as recorder for our meetings so that attendees can concentrate on the meeting.

State mandated assessment data update

  • Review explanations of formative and summative assessments, and how each is used to drive instruction.
  • CMAS, PSAT, SAT, MAPP data.
  • Explain current status: growth, target areas for growth, strategies.

Elementary School Improvement Plan (SIP)

  • Update on current status and plans, John Bryant and Erin Miller, co-principals, EPES

2021-2022 DAAC Charge

The Board of Education has adopted the following DAAC charges for the 2021-2022 school year:

  1. Review Academic Progress and Growth throughout the district.

  2. Strengthen school, family and community engagement to provide meaningful and continuous professional learning experiences.

  3. Ensure educational excellence for every student through a curriculum that meets our Ends and supports our Global Outcomes.

  4. Continued review of Unified Improvement Plans (UIP) and School Improvement Plans (SIP).
