Thank You TCE Families!

Thank you for donating to the Ruckus pasta staff luncheon this past week. It was a huge success! The teachers really appreciated and enjoyed the lunch with ALL the items that were provided by TCE families!


We’d also like to Thank our sponsor, Ruckus Pasta, Pizza & Spirits at Costco Plaza, for their generous donation. It was delicious!

PTA Board Meeting

Early Release Day Staff Snack

Our next PTA sponsored Early Release Snack Day will be Friday, October 20th.


Every early release day, a lunch or snack is provided to the TCE staff by the PTA, along with the support of TCE families. All help is appreciated!

Calling All Parents

The PTA has some open positions for the 2017-2018 school year. Please consider chairing (or co-chair with a friend) one of these positions with the PTA. The former chairs will be happy to help by passing along all information needed for these positions. Without YOUR help, we will not be able to do it all!



Position: Frogapalooza Chair - This position organizes and manages TCE’s community Spring Carnival happening March 24, working with leads in each of the following areas: food trucks, auction/raffle, classroom baskets, carnival games/activities, student performances, Lily Pad bakery, Teacher Time Raffles, vendor booths and communication. This is a fun and rewarding position! Time commitment: September-March. Contact Jackie Taylor president@tce-pta.org for more information.

Boosterthon

Boosterthon is our annual Fun Run fundraiser which focuses on raising money for technology. This year’s theme is Castle Quest, an English theme all about learning to be brave and live with character. Keep an eye out for the Pledge Crown and further information which will be sent home in the Friday folders.


Family and friends anywhere in the world can support our school by giving pledges toward the number of laps your student will run on the day of the Fun Run. Please mark your calendars.

State Fair Tickets

If you are planning on buying State Fair Tickets please consider helping TCE! Our Code is 571To support your school, simply enter your school code under "Membership" at check-out on the WCPSS Admission Ticket link. Box Tops and Tyson Labels

Help Us Raise Money for TCE!

The next submission date for Box Tops of Education is coming up. Please send in your valid (dated 11/1/2017 and beyond) Box Tops by October 16th. The Box Tops collection bin is located in the TCE lobby across from the main office.


Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school buy what it needs. Box Tops are each worth 10¢ and they quickly add up to real cash for our school. Here is a link showing participating Box Tops products.


Clip Tyson Project A+ labels from participating Tyson® product packages and send them to school with your child. We’ll collect the labels and send them to Tyson Foods, and Tyson Foods will send our school a check. Each label is worth 24¢!
