Just Sell It!
By: Kali N. Haskins
Why Should Detroit Sell?
Detroit should sell their artwork because they are already bankrupt, and they definitely need the money. Their artwork is priceless! That's not a reason for them to keep it-- that's definitely a reason for them to sell it.
What Are The Benefits?
Detroit will gain at least $17k, and that could definitely give them a helping hand. Also, it benefits the retired Detroit Police Team. Since they worked for the state of Detroit, Detroit can take out of their savings. Would you like it if you were them? Nope! Also, as you probably know, it costs money to keep the museum there. That's reducing Detroit's money-- not increasing.
