S'more Schumacher News

warm & gooey reminders for the week of SEPTEMBER 22ND-26TH

WHAT'S A SMORE? (other than a famously delicious campfire treat)

We're saying goodbye to our Sharkbyte email service and transitioning to the smore. This is a great place to find "s'more" news about Schumacher like upcoming events and helpful reminders. If you'd rather receive "s'm-less" news, you can unsubscribe at any time. Just email "unsubscribe" to hcummings@liberty.k12.mo.us or click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the page.

A TIP FOR CAR RIDER PARENTS

Parents, if your student needs help getting buckled or strapped into their child seat, please pull your car to the middle of the lot after picking them up at their color. And THEN you may get out of your car to assist them. This helps us to keep the line moving!

REMINDERS FOR EATING LUNCH WITH YOUR STUDENT

We love to have parents and guests visit students during lunch. We want to remind you of a few procedures that help our staff and students during your visit.

  1. No fast food or soda is allowed in the cafeteria. Guests are welcome to bring a sack lunch or eat a school lunch.
  2. Please meet your student downstairs in the cafeteria. To minimize classroom disruption, please do not go to the classroom.
  3. Please eat at your student’s table. The extra tables are for overflow only. Students may invite only one classmate to join them and their guest.
  4. Guests are invited to walk the trail with students after lunch, but we ask that you end your visit after this point. Again please do not go to the classroom.

REPORTING ABSENCES

Please notify the school office and your student’s teacher when your student will have a doctor or dental appointment. Please be sure to get a written excuse from your doctor or dentist in order for the absence to be excused. Thank you.
