KENNEDY END OF YEAR CARNIVAL
The Carnival Planning Committee is in the early stages of planning for the Kennedy End of Year Carnival. Many of you may have ideas or suggestions that would help make this event a successful one for our students. We encourage you to attend the next PTO meeting on April 16th at 6:00 PM at Kennedy to contribute to the planning process. If you are not able to make this meeting and would like to share your ideas, please call Kennedy main office at 651-480-7221. Your contact information will passed on to the planning committee.
We are always looking for new ideas and suggestions!
MINNESOTA SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS
Weather Warning Terms
The National Weather Service uses the words, "watch" and "warning" to alert you to potentially dangerous weather.
Watch - Be Alert!
A watch means weather conditions are favorable for dangerous weather to occur. In other words, a "watch" means watch out for what the weather could do, and be ready to act accordingly.
Warnings - Act Now!
A warning means the weather event is imminent or occurring somewhere in the defined warning area and that people need to take shelter as soon as possible.
