Life and Family Services
Partner with Life and Family Services
Life and Family Services, is a 501(c)3 social service organization that offers three programs to young families in Noble County, Indiana. In existence since 1986, Life and Family Services has offered help in a variety of ways to teens and young parents. Our programs consist of: Pregnancy and Parenting Resource Center, Beds and Britches, Etc., and Teen Parent Early Learning Center. These programs seek to educate and empower teens and young parents. We are not a state or federal funded organization. We are funded by those who believe in our abilities to come along side young individuals and families that need our guidance, love and support. Some funding is received is from partnering organizations, such as United Way and Parkview. We also organize fundraisers : baby bottle campaign, porkburger sale, apple dumplings, and a fundraising dinner. Businesses and individuals also provide financial support.
There are many ways that each and every person can partner with us at Life and Family Services.
Monetary donations are needed meeting the needs of our fiscally respectable budget.
Volunteer, donate specific items: diapers, wipes, paper towels, preschool classroom supplies, office supplies, gently used clothing (sizes 0-5), and the list goes on...

Over 14% of our income is generated from the Apple Dumpling sales. This was our largest fundraiser for the organization in 2014. We had over 250 volunteers and they worked over 1,460 hours to prepare over 7,800 apple dumplings. That is a lot no matter how you look at it. When you ask some of our long term volunteers "Why do you keep coming?" They answer: Because it is fun! We do it for the babies! We work for the Lord! Families are a blessing! It is the act of serving!
