Drives

A hard drive is a disk that all of your files and programs are saved on. So if your hard drive disk is damaged in anyway then you will loose everything on your computer.

Touch Screens

Touch screen computors allow you to select options by touching the screen. The Touch Screen replaces the need for a mouse. Useful in public areas for transport and shopping information.

Inputs/Outputs

It allows you to put data into your computer and prosseses the data to output it so we can understand it.

Monitors

Monitors display your data so you can see it. The monitor can turn off with shutting the whole computer down. They have several buttons such as the menu button and the auto and power button.

Centeral Processing Unit

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. t he computor CPU is responsible for handling all instructions and it recieves from hardware components and software programs running on the computer.

MotherBoards

One of the big functions of a motherboard is to act as the "hub" to which other computer devices connect. A board can come in many configurations to fit different needs and budgets. At its most basic, it has several interfaces for necessary components and numerous microchips that control computer startup.

Random Access Memory

RAM stands for Random Access Memory . Random Access Memory (RAM) gives space for your computer to read and write data to be looked at by the CPU.

Read-Only Memory

ROM stands for Read-Only Memory. It stores data on a disk. Even after you turn off your computer, the stuff on the ROM will remain.
