February 15, 2023 - NEWSLETTER
Hello Centerview Families,
It’s a short three-day week for students. We’ll conclude the week as a Centerview staff with continued professional learning and conferences on Thursday and Friday. Full, yes! Time well spent…for sure!
We look forward to seeing many families join us on Thursday evening, Friday and next Tuesday evening for conferences. While communication and connections have been consistent throughout the school year, it’ll be great to meet face-to-face to partner on student progress and next steps in learning.
The office will be open during conference times. Reach out if you need support with scheduling or have questions.
Enjoy your Presidents' Day weekend. We look forward to seeing students back in school Tuesday, February 21.

School Handbook
A student’s school experience is an important part of your family’s life. Each day, we work tirelessly to know each student’s strengths, interests and needs, create a sense of belonging and learning experiences that engage and delight.
There are also the practical aspects of school – start and end times, procedures for absences, transportation, meals and more. We’ve compiled the basic information about how our schools operate in this handbook for students and families. Please review the information and refer to it, as needed, throughout the year.
You’ll also find a comprehensive list of our district policies for your reference.
Please contact your school as you have questions throughout the year.
Preparing the next generation of educators
Through the Teacher Education course in the Health and Human Services pathway, students at Spring Lake Park High School are student-teaching in classrooms across the district as they explore a career in education.
Ashley Stewart returned to Northpoint, where she began her education, to explore teaching as a potential career. Addy Lier is going deep with Spanish Immersion, and Kallie Nielsen is exploring a long-term interest in Special Education. Read the story about how these students are gaining experience inside a real classroom.
Valentines Celebrations!

When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.
