Flagella

Where It Can Be Found
Flagella can be found in three domains of the living world: bacteria, archaea, and eukaryota.
What Is It?
Flagella are long whip-like appendages attached to a cell, usually bacterium, that allow the cell to move.
Why Does the Cell Need Me?
The cell needs me in order to move around throughout the body. Although similar to the cilia, it is longer and allows the cell to move further.
