Superintendent's Advisory Council
Pictured are the A.C. Flora representatives for the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. (Left to Right) Dr. Sellars, Maggie Leventis, Adriane Alston, Governor Erhabor, and Hank Overbay with Dr. Witherspoon.
The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is comprised of students from all Richland One high schools. The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is designed to give students an understanding of how Richland One functions as a school district and serves as a platform for student representatives to have a voice to district administration. We are very proud of our students for discussing key issues with Dr. Witherspoon and district office staff.

From Career Development
On November 1, a group of students shined as they represented AC Flora at the One City Job Fair. These students were given the opportunity to interview for positions with the City of Columbia.
November 2, went to the MEBA Industry Showcase at the SC Fairgrounds. This was an amazing event that was full of local industry partners. There were able to ask their questions about various local career opportunities. A few examples of businesses present include the fire department, PRISMA Health, Foremost Pipeline Construction, Midlands Technical College, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Laurel Crest Nursing Home, and the Southern Regional Education Board.
