Our Chess Tournament Family Day was a Success!
Thank you so all the parents, families, students, staff, and community members that made our event a success on Saturday!
We had a great time engaging in critical thinking skills while playing chess while also being extremely competitive in cool games such as basketball, pool, and many more.
Sending a big THANKS to our Parent & Family Engagement Specialist, Azucena Garcia, and our District Consultant/Parent, Joe Smith, for the countless hours spent organizing such a wonderful event for our families.
We are also proud of all the LGAM scholars who volunteered during the event which continues to teach our students the importance of civic engagement and giving back to our community.
Please continue to keep an eye out for more family events throughout the remainder of the school year.
8th Grade Student, Danica Ferrez, Breaks a 25 year LGAM Mile Record
She ran an incredible 6:05. She then turned around and helped multiple of her peers finish their mile strong.
Let's take the time to celebrate Danica on her record breaking success this year! Keep up the great work!
