Veteran's Day Program Information
October 31, 2018
We are so excited to have your child be a participant in this year’s Veteran Day Program on November 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m..
It is so very important that your child be present for this event as every student has been assigned a part and we have been working very hard on our presentation. Here are some details to ensure that we can make this program as successful as possible:
Please arrive at the school by 5:30 p.m. on the evening of the performance
Please have your child wear blue jeans (denim skirts work well, but please NO SHORTS) and a Red, White OR Blue top, polo, etc. T-shirts are welcome, but PLEASE NO LOGOS.
Please - NO FLIP- FLOPS as students will be walking up and down risers.
If you are unable to attend that evening, please let your child’s classroom teacher know by Wednesday, November 9th.
In lieu of sending care packages to troops overseas this year, we would like to provide “goody bags” to the residents of Colorado Veterans Living Center at Homelake. You will find a list of appropriate items on the back of this page. We will begin collecting items immediately, as well as the event of the Veterans Day Program. These items will be delivered to Homelake on November 11th. We appreciate your generosity.
If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to help in any way, please contact Anna Gearhart at email@example.com, or Joni Hemmerling at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also call the office at 719-852-4024.
Thank you for helping us to honor those who have served!
