Hyperdocs
Hyperdocs can be a great way to get students engaged in a lesson and allow them to work at their own pace through content. Hyperdocs can be created using Google Docs, Google Slides, or even a Google Drawing. Teachers can create interactive Hyperdocs by deliberately including web tools and tasks to provide opportunities for students to engage with, explore, apply, share, reflect, explain, and extend their learning. They also allow students to create authentic digital artifacts to show their learning.
Hyperdocs can be created for any grade and subject level. If you are interested in developing a Hyperdoc for a lesson or unit of study, I am happy to collaborate on this with you.
Breakout Box
Breakout box experiences can be a great opportunity for students to explore and try out their 4C's skills in an authentic and highly motivating way. BreakoutEdu has many great already made resources available on their site for all grade levels. Andrea also found the BreakoutEdu Facebook Page with many great shared resources as well.
If you are interested in using a Breakout Box with your class and/or developing your own challenges for students to problem solve together, let Allison or Andrea know. We would be happy to support you in this.
