The Hawk Talk
'Together, We Can Make a Difference.' March 13, 2020
Principal's Point
Greetings Loved Ones,
I wanted to start by letting you know that we are all in this together. We are HAWKNATION and as a family of learners, safety continues to be a priority. We will handle this and come out SOARING on the other side. With that being said, there is a great deal that is unknown and frankly, out of our control. On the bright side, Hawthorne students, staff and families have worked hard over these 125 days of school and have earned a break. Although this break will look a little different as we navigate this period, please find some brain space to relax and rest. Also, please keep your eyes and ears open for communications from the township.
I am having positive thoughts for your safety and restful time away.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Dear Families,
The BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school! Instead of clipping box tops, all box tops will be earned digitally by scanning
your receipt.
It’s easy to download the BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION APP, create an account, find and select Hawthorne Elementary School by searching zip code 46219,and get ready to scan!
Now you can open the app, scan the receipt, (if it is too long, click on the + sign and it will let you scan in sections), and if there are any products that participate in the program, they will automatically be added to Hawthorne’s account.
Thank you for supporting BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION and taking the time to help Hawthorne earn money for our school and our students,10¢ at time!!
