- Indicator for walkthrough vs. formal evaluation

How to Prepare for Your Evaluation
- Ensure your lesson plans are completed and submitted in Curriculum Trak on time each week
- Be prepared for your lessons
- Be consistent with your management plan
- Know who your evaluator is
- Know the signal that indicates a formal evaluation vs. walkthrough
- Be familiar with the rubric indicators (including the Professional Responsibilities section)
- Ensure that instruction aligns to lesson designs in Curriculum Trak
- "Off" days
What to Expect During Your Evaluation
- Your evaluator will ensure that you are aware that it is an official evaluation vs. a walkthrough
- Your evaluator will script your lesson, in order to align instruction to rubric indicators
- Your evaluator may ask questions of the students during independent work time
- Your evaluator will NOT intervene with behavioral issues
- RELAX and just TEACH!
What to Expect After Your Evaluation
- Your evaluator will set up a post-conference within 3 days of your evaluation
- Complete the post-conference form (optional)
- Upload any supporting documents to SFS (optional)
- Be prepared to discuss strengths and areas for improvement at post-conference
- You must score a 2.5 or above in order to return to SENSE the following year
- Re-evals may be requested in certain circumstances and must be approved by Sweeney
