Industrial Technology
This fall ROCORI middle school and high school Industrial Tech. students have been busy learning new skills and technology in a variety of classes. Mr. Filzens carpentry class started a new house project and are currently putting up the exterior walls. The carpentry students hope to have the roof on before it snows. Both Mr. Heying's and Mr. Larson's students have been learning how to design and create unique projects using computer software and our NEW Dremel 3-D printers and our NEW CNC plasma cutting table. Student interest has been high and it's great seeing students motivated to learn something new.
Industrial Tech
We're enjoying watching our students explore 3D printing with our new Dremel 3D printers in the orange lab.

PARENT REFERENCES
Apps are everywhere, and most students use apps on their phones for communicating with their friends, playing games, or even doing homework. But there are some red flags parents should know about apps, the information they may collect, and the potential for harm from cyberbullying, oversharing, and location tracking.
Common Sense Media has a lot of resources for parents, students, and educators about a variety of topics. Their article gives information about particular apps of concern. This can be a great starting point for conversations with teens. click the link below
