Morning Drop Off Safety
Please help us keep our students/families/staff safe by observing these procedures:
· Please DO NOT park in the Drop Off Lane
· Please DO NOT drop off your child from the Driver's Side. (The street is too narrow and students can be hit by passing cars.)
· Please DO NOT stop in any of the WHITE painted areas.
· Please stop behind the White Triangles at the Crosswalk. (This is the safe distance a driver needs to see a small child in the crosswalk beyond his/her hood.)
· Please zipper merge when possible. This means to alternate one thru-car then one drop-off lane car, and so on. (This will keep traffic from backing up in both lanes.)
Please bring your patience and plan for 3-4 minutes to get through the drop off area. If we all work together and observe these procedures, everyone will get to their destination safely.

Remember:
- We need a new one every year.
- We need to try to get 100%. Please fill out the survey regardless of your income level. This helps us report the most accurate data to the state.

COVID SAFETY AND PROTOCOLS
Willard Updates
- All students in the same classroom will receive a COVID Rapid Antigen test and a notice of exposure.
- All students in the affected classroom will be required to wear a mask for 10 days (while inside the classroom.)
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Health Office at extension 58088.
Masking
Masks will no longer be required but strongly recommended indoors at Pasadena Unified schools and childcare sites.
Although masks are not required, but still strongly recommended in many cases, mask mandates remain in place in the following circumstances:
All visitors must wear a mask when indoors.
Exposed students, identified as close contacts, must wear masks for 10 days after exposure.
Students and staff members on a bus or other PUSD transportation must wear masks at all times.
Students and staff on a field trip at a public facility must wear masks while indoors.
Masks will also be required in the school Health Offices and the PUSD Primary Clinic as these offices provide health care.
At Home Screening
Before leaving home all students, employees, and parents must conduct a self-check. Ask yourself these questions:
Do I have a fever?
Do I have a cough?
Do I have a sore throat or runny nose?
Am I experiencing shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
Am I experiencing any other symptoms?
Have I been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
In the last two weeks, have I been directed to quarantine, isolate or take a COVID-19 test?
If you have any of these symptoms, please contact our health office for options, including COVID testing. Thank you.
