3rd-5th grade students have been learning how to borrow eBooks and Audiobooks through the Hoover City Schools Elementary Sora account. Go to Clever, click the Sora app, and explore all of the awesome titles! All students have access to this wonderful resource, but K-2 students will need parental assistance! Fire Safety Poster Contest

The City of Hoover is hosting a poster contest for Fire Prevention Month for students in Grades 3 -5. Posters will be picked up at the school on October 30th. Posters should be turned in to Mrs. Richardson at the front desk. Click here for more details and poster contest guidelines.

Spain Park ColorGuard & Majorette Clinic

Perform with the Spain Park Color Guard or Majorettes before the Spain Park vs. Thompson Football Game!

Homecoming Night - Friday, October 4th

All students Kindergarten - 8th grade are welcome!

Clinic begins at 3:45 in the SPHS Gym. Enter through the back of the school (note that there is a pep rally this day). Participants will wear black gym shorts or pants, tennis shoes, and provided t-shirt (will receive prior to performance).

Cost is $35, which includes dinner, drink, and game admission for those performing. (Parents MUST purchase tickets to enter the stadium.) Performance will begin around 6:30pm on the SPHS Football Field.
