Curriculum Night

We will have a face-to-face Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. This special event will provide parents with the opportunity to learn about their child's daily schedule.
Time:
Kindergarten - 2nd / 5:30 - 6:30 pm
3rd - 5th / 6:45 - 7:45 pm
Readers ARE Leaders!!!
Please encourage your child to read 20 minutes daily.

READING KICK-OFF AND AVID

READING "KICK-OFF" AND AVID DAY
On Friday, September 30, we will "KICK-OFF" our school-wide READING initiatives and AVID. Our theme for this special day is NDES Tailgate Party. We are encouraging all our students and staff members to wear their favorite college gear.
- Real MEN Read - Dr. Few has made a schedule for special guests to read to Grades K - 2nd
- AVID - Students, please wear your favorite college gear

Hispanic Heritage Month - September 15 to October 15

National Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15) is an annual celebration of the history and culture of the Hispanic communities. The 2022 Hispanic Heritage Month national theme is Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation. The theme is to encourage all voices to be represented and welcomed to help build stronger communities and a stronger nation.
If you have any ideas of things that we can do with the students, please let me know.
