Fire Safety Presentation
By Maiyah Granados (Student Author)
On Friday December 8th, us 5th graders had a firefighter come to our school. We learned that if we have our door shut when we are sleeping we keep the poisonous gas out of our room if there is a fire. It is caused by our couches and tv and other plastic things. We also learned that there can be up to six or more firefighters on one call. And in 4 minutes or less that the fire can get so hot that even the firefighters can’t make it in their gear. In conclusion, we can trust firefighters to help us when we need it.
School Safety Reminder
On delayed start days, our dedicated staff come together in teams to engage in learning and planning aimed at ensuring student success. Please note that classes will begin at 8:20. For the safety of your child, we kindly request that you refrain from dropping them off before 7:35, as adult supervision will not be available until that time.
