Registration is Now Open!
PowerSchool registration is now available!
PowerSchool Registration is now available for all Xavier Catholic Schools families. You are welcome and encouraged to start this process at this time; however, the date of family registration with Xavier Catholic Schools will determine enrollment priority if the student is at the same priority level as other prospective students in the event of high demand for placement in a specific grade level. Additionally, the time of receiving registration materials will be used in situations where capacity limits enrollment; this process is used when priority levels are not in effect.
For enrollment to be considered complete, all Power School Enrollment Express forms must be submitted and/or accepted (yellow and green leaves will indicate these statuses). The deadline to complete the registration process is March 29, 2024 for priority enrollment. After March 29, 2024, all registration materials are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
A final deadline will be in June, at which point communication will be shared with families closer to this deadline. The updated Xavier Catholic Schools admissions and enrollment policy can be found below.
Any questions should be directed to the individuals listed below:
· PowerSchool Registration: Nancy Franey: nfraney@lasallecatholiccr.org & Kathy Ireland: kireland@lasallecatholiccr.org
· Admissions Priorities: Zach Zeckser: zzeckser@lasallecatholiccr.org & Heather Williams: hwilliams@lasallecatholiccr.org
Please let Mrs. Williams (hwilliams@lasallecatholiccr.org) or Mr. Zeckser (zzeckser@lasallecatholiccr.org) know if your student will not be attending LaSalle Catholic during the 2024-2025 school year as soon as possible.
Library Fine Update
Our library software has had an update that now includes sending parents/guardians an email when his/her student has an overdue book and/or a fine for materials turned in late. ( Middle School only: Late fines are $0.05 per day/per book. Your student is getting a written copy of this same information weekly). This new update is an easy and fast way to communicate with you. Please remind your students to return their library books and pay their fine or they will not be able to check out from the school library until this situation is resolved.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know at sgibbs@LaSallecatholiccr.org
Thank you!

Concessions Help Needed for the Parent Association
As you might have heard, Taft had to close their gym for use by all their sports teams for what looks like this year. As a result, we have the opportunity to open our concession stand during the Taft basketball home games hosted at LaSalle. The concession stand is a big money maker for the Parent Association and we are in need of two volunteers per game. Please click the link below for the girls games and stay tuned for wrestling as well. Thank you

3rd Grade Service Learning Project - Mrs. Green's Class
Highlighting our next Service Learning Project
Third graders in Mrs. Green’s class are working with the Cedar Valley Humane Society for their service learning project this year. Ken, from the CVHS, visited our class and talked about what the
Humane Society does for animals and ways we can help. One way for us to help was to make Kitty Hideaway Houses. Students worked to decorate boxes with things they thought the cats would enjoy seeing as they played in the houses. They cut holes for different ways the cats could explore. Another way Ken said we could help was by coming up with a list of names to help the CVHS name any animals that come to their shelter. Next month we will be working on an activity to help raise money for the needs of the animals at the CVHS such as food, cleaning supplies for the shelter, and toys for the animals.
Thank You!
A special thank you to Kate Karl, mother of Annalise and Vincent, for providing the teachers and staff with some delicious pumpkin bars today. Your kindness is very much appreciated, and the bars were very yummy!
