Flour Bluff Elementary
Week of April 20th
Learning at Home: Week Five
Unfortunately, Friday was also a very hard day for us too. The news that we cannot return to school this year was devastating. We miss our students terribly and want nothing more than to be with them AT SCHOOL. While we understand it is for the best and to keep us all healthy, we are, like you, still adjusting to this new way of school.
I know there are many questions about the end of the school year and I ask for your patience as we organize those things. As I get information, I will share it with you.
Below is the revised grading and promotion policy for the 2019-2020 school year. It is intended to lessen any stress you may feel about grades and promotion. Please review it carefully and if you have any questions feel free to ask your child's teacher or myself.
Also, you should have received an email regarding Skyward FAMILY ACCESS. Please make sure you can get on this account if you haven't already. That is where all grades and any progress or report cards will be posted.
While we may not be together, we are in this together. We are here for you and our students. Please let us know how we can help.
We appreciate all your support,
Dr. Youngberg
