2019-2020 School Registration
Online registration for the 2019-20 school year is underway.
All registrations need to be completed online by Friday, April 5. Failure to complete the registration by this date could result in your child losing their seat in their grade level at DGS.
You should have received an email from noreplyregistration@powerschool.com with your child's snapcode. You will then go to www.dunlapcusd.net and use the provided code to complete registration. Please let the office know if you have any questions.
If you know that you will NOT be returning to Dunlap Grade School next school year, please call or email the office.
There will be an orientation for all 5th graders entering Dunlap Valley Middle School on Tuesday, April 30. Students will attend a presentation during the school day and parents will attend in the evening. More information will be given closer to the date.

Erin's Law Information
"Erin's Law" Mandates Sexual Abuse Awareness Programs in All Illinois School On January 24, 2013, Gov. Pat Quinn signed a new law extending sexual abuse education in Illinois schools. The Illinois law went into effect immediately and schools have to implement Erin’s Law starting the 2013-14 school year. Erin’s Law requires all schools to provide child sexual abuse prevention education for all students, K-12, yearly. The law also requires educators to take part in training classes that cover sexual abuse and how to recognize warning signs.
All lessons provided are considered developmentally appropriate. Resources will also be given to each student so parents can continue this very important conversation at home. You may choose to opt your child out of the lesson.
If you would prefer to have your child removed during this lesson, please contact your school counselor for the district opt-out form. We kindly ask that opt-out forms be returned by April 12th so we can ensure an alternative activity is available for your student. Questions can be directed to your child’s school counselor.
