Principal's Post
This Thursday is the end of 1st semester (and 2nd quarter) for ALL Raiders. Please ask your child if makeup work and re-takes are complete so they will finish this grading period with their best effort.
Today marks the first day of celebrating Black History Month. Each team is doing something different and we are excited to learn from one another. Pictures and videos are forthcoming on our social media accounts and our Newsletter. While we celebrate the amazing contributions of all Americans throughout the year, February has been specifically deemed Black History Month since 1976. The month-long celebration grew out of a 1926 week-long celebration by the Study of African American Life and History group who chose the 2nd week of February because it coincided with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln (history.com).
Have a great week!
Warm Regards,
Heather Andrus

2020-2021 RRMS Yearbook
Due to half our school being virtual, and the rest being A/B, we request students and parents send photos to be considered for the yearbook. We would love to see students and/or doing work online or otherwise, in class, or even doing things on their "off time". We'd also like fun candid photos with or without masks. Photos should be school appropriate. Photos can be submitted here.
Yearbooks (hardcover, 76 pages) may be ordered for $37. Please visit the website to order your yearbook here.
8th Grade parents may place tribute ads for their 8th graders at jostensadservice.com starting at $25 by February 10th.
