College Application Tips
Tips from our Admission Representatives Panel:
*Use your legal name on your application, not a nickname
*Meet your deadlines for both Admittance and Scholarships (sometimes the scholarship has a separate application)
*Out of State Residency Requirements vary by institution- work with that school's admission representative to clarify rules and requirements
*If completing a paper application-SIGN IT
* If completing an online application- make sure you answer all questions and have completed all steps including clicking any final submit buttons
*Check your "Portals" and Institutional email so you do not miss Financial Aid, Housing, Scholarship, etc. information or deadlines
*Make sure to use a valid and professional email address as most information is sent via email
