Classics Five Jazz Quintet
Saturday, August 4, 4 p.m., Pavilion at Kent Field
Enjoy some free live music with the Classics Five Jazz Quintet entertaining the crowd with jazz, light rock, doo-wop, country, and blues from the heart of America’s homegrown music library. No registration is required.
Family Program
Rockin Luau
Friday, August 3, 2 p.m., Pavilion at Kent Field
Come celebrate the end of Glocester Summer Reading Program with a Rockin’ Luau. Children will be taught Hawaiian dance moves by Polynesian dancer Lola Matte and then cool off afterward with Kona Ice. There will be authentic crafts, snacks, fun, and a special visit from Pete the Cat! No registration is required.

Age Level: 10 years old and up
A Best of RI Award Winner, Mermaid Masterpieces gives teens step-by-step directions on painting their own masterpieces that then they take home.
Playdoh Pals
Thursday, August 2, Harmony Library
Age Level: 2 - 5 years old
Children will be encouraged to explore using different colors of Playdoh and Playdoh utensils in this six-week series. Playdoh is a fun way to entertain children and also a great way to build fine motor skills.
Buster the Teaching School Bus

Age Level: 3-7 years old
AAA’s Buster the Teaching School Bus arrives at the Harmony Library to teach children about safety around cars and buses.
Graphic Novel Book Club
Thursday, August 23, 4 p.m., Harmony Library
Age Level: 7-12 years old
August’s graphic novel series’ selection is Narwhal and Jelly by Ben Clanton. Children can read any of three books in the Narwhal and Jelly series. Children will be encouraged to talk about the books, draw the characters, or discuss other great graphic novels. We will even snack on some of Narwhal’s favorite foods!

My Near Death Experience: A Message of Hope

Dr. Ronald Barks will present a powerful story about his near death experience following a heart attack. He will share stories of others who had similar experiences and hopes you will share your thoughts and experiences too.

Sign up for instruction in the basics of computer use, email, and Internet searching. If you want to work on Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016, including Word, PowerPoint, or basic Excel, let us know when you register.
