A Message From The Principal

Dear Henry Hawk Families

One more week before the end of the quarter and until Spring Break. If you have not had access to Aspen Parent Portal, please be sure to contact the main office. On Parent Portal, you can see your child's grades daily/weekly.

Please remember that this Friday is a School Improvement Day and there will be no classes.

This week we will continue our IAR testing. The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

Thank you to those who attended our staff vs. students basketball game last Thursday. We had a sold out event! Staff won! :)

Teachers will be sending out appointment letters this week for our Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, April 20th.

Please remember that if your child tests positive for COVID-19, please complete the self report on the following link: https://chicagopsprod.service-now.com/health?id=cps_self_report

As always, we will continue working to provide your children with a safe, healthy learning environment where they can reach their full potential.

IAR Testing

Continues this week

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics. The testing schedule is below.

The best way to have your child be prepared for these testing days is to make sure they have enough rest by going to bed early, eat a good breakfast, and to provide your child with words of encouragement.
