Plant & Animal life in the biosphere
Every living organism must exchange gases to stay alive. We each take in gas (breathing) we need from the atmosphere , use it to make food or transform food, and release the leftover part of the gas, which the living cells have chemically changed into a different gas.
How does the Biosphere depend on other spheres
Scientists describe the Earth in terms of spheres. The solid surface layer of the Earth is the lithosphere. Theatmosphere is the layer of air that stretches above the lithosphere. The Earth’s water—on the surface, in the ground, and in the air—makes up the hydrosphere.
