Does your child struggle to complete their Homework due to lack of high - speed internet ?
Monthly home-based, high-speed broadband internet service will be available at no cost on a first come, first served basis. To be eligible, families must currently lack adequate home internet service.
The goal is to address the “Homework Gap” and provide students internet access outside of school hours. This is along with the District’s one-to-one device initiative which provides laptops and Chromebooks to all students.
To get started, visit the TEA Connect Texas website. Families will need to provide their child’s student ID number, phone number, email address, and home address.
Hard copy forms will be available in each NISD school office for families who need assistance completing and submitting. All forms must be submitted by Oct. 1, 2021.
Be sure to create account if you don't already have one!
