Psychiatrist diagnose, treat, and help prevent disorders of the mind. Occupations at this level generally require a first professional degree. Completion of the academic program usually requires at least 6 years of full-time equivalent academic study, including college study prior to entering the professional degree program. During your 4 years of medical training you will earn experience, and that is a major part in being able to become a psychiatrist. That will help you a lot because you get to put your skills into practice and get to know how things work. Psychiatrist need to have perception, reasoning, communication, compassion, and stress tolerance.
Annual Salary : $113,370.00
Hourly Wage : $54.50
