Dear Central Road Families:

March is officially here and we are all feeling lucky as the weather has been favorable lately with both sun and snow! Students in grades 3-6 will be taking our state IAR assessment next week. Please remember to encouarge your child(ren) to have a good breakfast and some restful sleep too.

IAR testing is taking place the week of March 6th. Students will take 3 math tests and 2 reading tests. Most of the testing will take place Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. All make-up testing will be completed by Friday, March 17th. Any student who misses a test,will be required to make up the session. We ask that students come ready for testing. Our 1st and 3rd graders have been working hard on preparing for their upcoming performance. Please join us on Thursday, March 23rd at Central Road School. Our grade 1 performance will take place at 6:00 pm. Our grade 3 performance will take place at 7:00 pm.

If you currently do not have a dentist, Orland Park Dental Services is scheduling services at D15 schools. For your child to receive this service, registration is required. An invitation will be sent home with your student at the beginning of March, or you may register them online with this link.
