Principal Points
Welcome, Lincoln Families, to what I anticipate being a fabulous 2019-20 school year! Our staff embraced a new vision at the end of last year where Lincoln will work to Foster the Future! In alignment with the Whole Child Whole Wausau work, we have aligned our mission to the following three areas:
Lincoln Elementary will provide resources and foster sustainable growth to meet academic, social/emotional and basic needs of the Lincoln Community.
Lincoln Elementary will promote community health and development by connecting people, ideas and resources.
Lincoln Elementary will foster a caring and creative environment that respects the unique needs of all individuals.
The newsletter explains how we have already begun to meet these needs with our Lincoln students and families. We would welcome input or ideas from our family community as well to support our mission and vision. Please note that this newsletter does not list all of our community partners...we are so blessed to have so many partners and appreciate each and every contribution. This newsletter just highlights some of the ways that we attempt to support the families, students, and staff of Lincoln Elementary.
I wish you all a fabulous and thoughtful start to the 2019-20 school year. If there is ever any way that I can support your child throughout the year, please don’t hesitate to stop in and speak with me, send me an email, or pick up the phone and give me a call. My goal is to be of service to the students, staff and families of Lincoln!
Your partner in education,
Colleen A. Whooley Jepson, Principal
